the Moby Deck

Ahhhh...the Moby Deck. We had some good times, although I wasn't allowed to swim. It was like 9:00pm at night. After my swin in Lake Superior AND Lake Huron...Sand Lake was like bath water. Isn't it pretty though?

The Freighter

Getting close to the freighter was pretty cool. It deserves its own posting. Did I mention that my uncle's boat was awesome? I'm going to tell daddy that he needs a Boston Whaler too.

Seashell City & the MB

So, this was my first time crossing the Mackinac Bridge. It was big! It felt like it went on for miles. I saw someone parasailing and I said I wanted to do that.

As soon as we crossed the bridge, we stopped at Seashell City. I got to pick out 6 treasures. I got shells and a blue glass star and fish. They are all very pretty. Then we got to play "pirate" for a little while. This was the first time I wanted to be a pirate and not a princess :)

The Best Boat Ride Ever!

The ride on my uncles boat was AWESOME!!! We saw Canada and a gigantamongous freighter. Oh, and a block house and a light house. The block house was used after light houses were out of vogue. Now I guess they just use GPS and the block house is no longer manned. It sure was huge though.

There is also a picture of the cabin we stayed in taken from the lake.

4th of July on Lake Superior

This weekend was my first weekend in the Upper Peninsula. It was a great place to celebrate the 4th of July! We had a nice place to stay, I met some family that I hadn't seen since I was like 6 months old (I really like my cousins), we went swimming, we threw rocks, saw fireworks, had some furniture casualties, ate lots of candy and slept in. All in all, a good trip.
