Me and Ondrej love the puppies

Thank goodness for Aunt Otilia satisfying our need for puppies. She takes us to the mall all the time so that we can pet the puppies and kitty cats in the pet store. This is our only option as mom will not allow another puppy in our home.

Canoing down the Huron River

Yesterday, we went canoing with Mike and Molly down the Huron River. I just hung out in the middle, while mommy and daddy did all the work. They looked pretty tired afterwards. We had a perfect fall day. Although, since they were working so hard to make the canoe go...we didn't get a lot of pictures. This is it. Hopefully Molly got a better picture of us.

Hallowe'en Nights at Greenfield Village

Here we are trick or treating in Greenfield Village. Kayla's mom organized the evening for us and it was really nice. Well, fun nice. Not weather nice. It was cold and it rained the whole time. But the plan was to go rain or shine. We were going no matter what :) In the Village they had all the sidewalks lined with jack o' lanterns and people were dressed up in costumes. It was really cool.

Kayla and I posed with Thomas Edison dressed up as a wizard.

Jenny invites me to the zoo

I met up with Jen and Todd at the Zoo because they were having a special day for brain tumor survivors. Jenny got me a special lemonade, introduced me to her doctors and then we walked around for a couple of hours. It was a nice day and I am glad we got to enjoy it together.

Labor Day Weekend

Brian and Kelly invited us to Port Huron for the weekend. We had so much fun. It was great weather, good boating, good food and friends. Lake Huron is HUGE!!!! We boated under the Ambassador Bridge a few times. That was really cool. I couldn't believe how many boats were on the lake by us.

Pinky and Bluey join the family

Here are my two new Pucci Pups. I love them. I take them with us wherever I go. I sometimes forget to feed them at night though. Mom says they will be fine.

On the Shipwreck!

Sailor overboard!!! Land Ho!

Shipwrecks in Alpena

We went to the Shipwreck Museum in Alpena, MI this summer with Grandma and Grandpa. There was so much for me to do there. Mom and I crawled through a tunnel system and then I got to steer a Great Lakes Sailboat. It was raining and thundering. I was an awesome Captain! I would never let my ship go down in Lake Huron.

Woofstock 2009

Brian and Kelly invited us to Kalamazoo for the weekend. While we were there we went to Woofstock 2009 in downtown Kalamazoo. There were people and dogs everywhere. Craziness.
Luna and Hannah were pretty good girls while we were there. No poop fest. Daddy was on clean up duty.

Concert at the Zoo 2009

We went to the zoo a few times this summer and here is a picture of me during one of their concerts. I had to get all fancy. Kayla and I decided to be brave and go up to the stage to dance. We had a good time.

4th of July

Here is me and Nana cheering daddy on as he ran the Firecracker Mile. He did pretty good this year. I gave him a big high five and a hug when he finished. We were so proud of him :) This was the 4th of July and we had a really nice weekend.

My visit with Cindy and Rodney

Here is me posing with Cindy and Rodney. They were lots of fun to hang out with. I also took it upon myself to rearrange the hundreds of trophies that Rodney has won. He said he liked my new arrangement.

We visit Thomas the Train in IN

Here is me hanging out with Thomas the Train in IN. Mom's friend, Cindy, invited us for a visit. We had tons of fun. There was A LOT of kid stuff for me to do. Here is a picture of me doing art work, me and mom posing with Sir Topemhat, and me riding a pony. It was a really fun day.

New CD

Mom bought the new Black Eyed Peas CD. We totally rocked out on our way home from Babbie's. This morning our conversation went like this:

Me: Can you put the Black Beans CDD in?
Mom: You mean the Black Eyed Peas?
Me: Ja.

Black beans, black peas, what's the difference???

The Birdie

I couldn't understand why mom and dad were laughing so hard when I showed them my boo-boo. It really hurt! They just laughed and took a picture. That was mean.

Scientist Silvia

Here I am creating a science experiment. Mom and dad bought me a "Build Your Own Arctic World" set. We made 3 glaciers...it took all night. When they were finally ready, I put on my safety goggles and took them outside. We made snow (that came out of a weird package and grew) and I swirled the glaciers around and watched them melt. I love my science goggles.

Splash Park

Here is Kayla's birthday party. It was so much fun. We made princess crowns, dug for buried treasure and then went outside on the splash pad. It sure was a lot of fun. I didn't eat as much food as mommy wanted me to, but I did have some cake and Fairy Punch! We got all kinds of goodies to take home. This party is at the top of my favroites :)

Veech Nest

While mom was drifting off to sleep, I made a little nest. I took all the empty hangers out of daddy's closet, arranged them in a circle and then took junk mail, tore bits up and arranged those around me as well. Mom said it looked a little ritualistic. But, really, it was just a nest. It's my creative streak shining through...

We're so patriotic

Miss Lisa dressed us up in patriotic gear :) Is she trying to send us a message? Heehee. Just kidding. I really liked my gifts...thanks Lisa! When we got home, I made a project out of them and they are still hanging on my wall.

Chicago in one picture

This basically sums up my whole weekend.

Magnificient Mile

We spent the whole afternoon walking around the Magnificient Mile. I didn't buy anything. Mom wouldn't let me go into the American Girl store. She said that I already had a doll with the same dress as me. But we ate dinner in the Water Tower and I stuffed myself.

We rode the bus down there and took my first taxi ride back to Chris's place. There were lots of tall buildings to look at.

Off to the bar

My parents rock! I'm like 4 and they take me to the bar. Here are the classic bar photos. On my way out, the people who work there gave me a wooden snail that wiggles. It's awesome. I'm going to bring it to show and tell.

TJMaxx Rocks...

Mom took me shopping to TJMaxx and got me the best dress ever! With my dress came a matching dress for my dolly. I can't get over how cool this is. The doll and I will be dressed the same. It's amazing. That is what I kept saying in the store. Amazing. Mom said it was the best $10 she ever spent.

PAWS of Chicago

Chris took me to meet his friend, Irene...and all the kittys and doggies at the shelter. Oprah is a supporter of this shelter (mom thought this was important). It was really nice. We stayed for a long time and I got to pet the kittys and doggies.

Chicago from a Stroller

Mom let me take pictures. Here are some of the ones I took. I call them "Chicago from a Stroller." Look for my gallery opening soon...

Lincoln Park Zoo Day

Today we spent the day at the Lincoln Park Zoo. The giraffes were the coolest according to daddy. There was an ostrich in there too. I was most fascinated by the sparrow that flew into the exhibit :P

Thank goodness the Olds brought the stroller because it sure was a lot of walking.

The warthogs sure were weird animals. Bordering on the ugly. Not at all like in The Lion King.

Smoosh the Buildings

Here is me smooshing the big skyscrapers. Smoosh.

Navy Pier

Ummmm....we took lots of pictures at Navy Pier because the views were so pretty. It was a beautiful day, sunny, warm and slightly windy. The Ferris Wheel was HUGE, and I really like the view.

Day 1 in Chicago

Our morning started out with us being Techno-geeks. I have to convince the Olds that I need a iTouch. I really like playing games on them. That is my mission.

We decided to spend part of our day at Navy Pier. We went there by train. It was my first time on public transportation in the city. I did good. Then we walked around, took pictures and rode the GIANT ferris wheel. I like looking at the big buildings.

Rhythm Gymnastics

I've been taking gymnastics with my friend Maddie. We have lots of fun and I've learned how to somersault, do a backbend, twirl a ribbon, balance a ball and jump rope (sort of). Mom says I do a really good job! I look forward to every Monday when I can go to class...

My Soccer Team

Here is my soccer team before we got our team shirts. I'm the only girl. Mom was worried that I wouldn't like it, but I am kicking ass! Go Gurrrl Power!
